OUR STORY
Leanne & Laura have been music educators in the public and private sectors for nearly 40 years combined. After having spent a lifetime in practice rooms and classrooms, as students and as educators, we know the positive impact effective teaching has on students.
Before meeting in 2007, we independently recognized a lack of high quality private music instruction available in the Northern VA area. We felt drawn to share music with more families than we could reach through our individual studios. So started the late nights with ice cream and takeout! After two years of planning (and 10 pounds later), our dream became a reality in The Music Loft.
It is our vision to teach, to grow, and to inspire each of our students while providing the highest caliber of music education at all levels.
