Ethan Lawrence

 

Mr. Lawrence is the director of orchestras between Stone Bridge, Loudoun County, and John Champe High Schools for the 2014-2015 school year. Before becoming a full time teacher, he substitute taught across the county and had the opportunity of working with other orchestra teachers.

 

Mr. Lawrence graduated from Brentsville District High School in 2009 where he had the opportunity to study both double bass and viola under the instruction of Michael Trowbridge and Katy Thiele respectively. Through college, he studied at Shenandoah Conservatory under the instruction of Dr. Donovan Stokes. He h asperformed in the Shenandoah Conservatory Concert Band under the director of Dr. Emily Threinen, the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jan Wagner, and the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphonic Wind Ensemble under the direction of Emily Threinen and Dr. Damon Talley.

 

He currently lives in Ashburn and is teaching private lessons on violin, cello, bass, and classical guitar.
